Welcome to my newest edition of Bales' Best NFL Bet. In this article, I will outline my favorite bet for Week 15 of the NFL season. You can also find all of the Bet Karma's staff bets through our NFL Premium Package.

Keep in mind, you should always be shopping sportsbooks for the best price. Some props will be a few yards different while some spreads could be an entire point different. Getting the best number possible is one main key to being a successful bettor.

Philadelphia Eagles (+226) vs Arizona Cardinals (-165)

The Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals will face off in an important matchup as they battle for the playoffs. The Eagles are currently 6.5 point underdogs in a game set at 48.5 points, but they still boast an implied team total of 21 points.

Jalen Hurts has seen limited snaps in 2020, playing only 15% of the offensive snaps thus far. He’s thrown for 309 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception on 45 pass attempts. He’s also added 191 yards on 35 carries, as well.

Hurts recently replaced Carson Wentz as the Eagles’ starting quarterback, though. He played 42% of the offensive snaps after taking over against the Green Bay Packers before playing 100% of the offensive snaps against the New Orleans Saints last week. In his only full game, Hurts ran for 106 yards. Overall, he’s carried the ball on 24.2% of his snaps as Philadelphia’s quarterback.

Hurts gets a great matchup against Arizona. They’ve given up the seventh-most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks (316) in the NFL this season. Those quarterbacks are averaging 5.5 yards per carry against them, as well.

The Cardinals have given up a few massive games on the ground to opposing quarterbacks. Russell Wilson totaled 126 yards on 16 attempts against them. Josh Allen, Teddy Bridgewater, and Cam Newton also posted 30+ yards against them this season. Surprisingly, Joe Flacco even posted 20 yards on only 4 carries against Arizona.

The Cardinals could spy Hurts, but their struggles against mobile quarterbacks throughout the season aren’t likely to change in a week. He’ll continue to see plenty of designed runs along with opportunities on scrambles. There isn’t much tape on Hurts either, allowing him to continue to surprise defenses, similar to the way he did to New Orleans last week.

Bet 1.12 units on Jalen Hurts over 57.5 rushing yards (-112) to win 1 unit

2020 NFL Season Record - 31-33 (-1.47 unit)
